Final Fantasy characters are hot.

Having recently aquired Final Fantasy VII for the PC, I have been taking a rather thrilling trip down memory lane. Final Fantasy is easily my favourite series of games and I’ve loved them all. One thing you notice in most Final Fantasy games (referring to VII onwards here, where you could actually have a good idea of what your character looked like) is just how shockingly good looking Square make their characters, particularly the lead characters. Observe:
Cloud – Final Fantasy VII
Oh what more can you say? Cloud from Final Fantasy VII is just beaming with computer-generated beauty. Plus check out that hair, he needs to tell us what hair spray he uses because it must be amazing.
Before you all moan that this is a screenshot from Advent Children and not the game itself, it doesn’t matter. I just figured he looked a lot better in all this CGI.
Squall – Final Fantasy VIII
With a bit of an amazing fashion sense (the two belts thing was a bit hot, admit it) and, like Cloud, a very nice hair cut, Squall is definately up there in the list of hotty Final Fantasy characters. Everyone remember the ending sequence when he kisses Rinoa? And when they danced at the ball? Oh the memories, what a gentleman Squall is at heart.
Zidane – Final Fantasy IX
I don’t know, I think Square were having an off day when designing the characters for number 9. It was a great game, but I lacked the same love for the characters that I had for Cloud and Squall and all the other characters in 7 and 8. Maybe it was because he had a tail? My boyfriend curses his tail because he always expects his Final Fantasy characters to have tails now.
Tidus – Final Fantasy X
To be honest, I personally think Tidus takes the biscuit in this. Despite his dress sense being a touch iffy (it was still pretty cool though) he is a bit hot. With that lovely flicky-out hair style that Squaresoft seem to adore on their characters Tidus is certainly one of the hottest Final Fantasy characters. The scene with him and Yuna in the water… what more can I say?
Okay, that’s the lads. I’m gay so they went first. I’ll do the women soon because I had a soft spot for them all. Especially Quistis in FF8, her glasses were hot.

these games are awesome the two i love the best are cloud and squall all the overs are two high tech and look ugly

Personally i’d have to disagree with you on most of these. Final Fantasy VII had wayyy better looking characters than Cloud (then again, i’m not into blondes). For me, It’d be a toss-up between Vincent and Sephiroth. I wasn’t so much into VIII, so I can’t comment much on that one. But you are right with IX. They did slip up a little with those, especially with them all being abnormally short. And if I had to say that any of the guys from X were hot…I couldn’t…even if she is a girl, Lulu still kickes all ass in that category.

well i totally agree! Squall is pretty hot and tidus is gorgeous!!!! so wishing he was real….

They are all so hot! except for in 9…Tidus is awesome…I hate how people mock FF characters…in IT me and a friend were looking at pictures of Tidus…and giggling…and then somone asked what gender he was! clouds hair rules. Squall wears such awesome clothes. I wish he was real…though he could do with darker hair…about Squalls colour

OMFG, CLOUD IS SOOOO HOTT!!! Squall isn’t bad eighter, but Zidane for me not so much…Tidus is not bad…Think Cloud is the hottest of them all

My brother used to think I was weird when I would come into his room to look at the pictures of Cloud in the game brochure. Glad I’m not the only. I wonder if Cloud’s available for Winter Formal?

I personally favor Aroun. He is also one of the best guardians in the Final Fantasy series. I especially love the Bushido blade. He’s one of the characters that doesn’t really look that old or look too young. He’s more middle aged than anything else.

Oh my god none has said anything about Reno or Rude. they are one of the best teams in the final fantasy series. I especially favor Vincent. the red eyes and the cape make him one of the cooolest characters in the final fantasy series. his gun Cerberus is also one of the coolest weapons in The Dirge Of Ceberus!

What was wrong with IX?
I thought it was a good game.
Cloud and Squall were hot I’ll admit that, but there personality kind of annoyed me with there whole”oh i’m all alone”.
Cloud wasn’t as bad as Squall he only really turned kind of Emo
when Aerith died. {total Cloud X Aerith fan hehe]
But Zidane and Tidus made a change to the emo charcters
And I thought that all four of them were hot =]
