During a free period today, Fran, Zoe, Rachel and I all crowded round a copy of Vogue to look at those oh-so glossy adverts for all those oh-so nice clothes that you just can’t afford because you’re a student. It’s something I always enjoy doing, it’s somewhat aspirational. As we went through the pages I noticed a striking pattern; Kate Moss was appearing extremely regularly throughout the magazine so I said that we should go through and count how many times Kate Moss appeared in this particular issue of Vogue. (Okay, I appreciate how sad this sounds now I’ve wrote it down but come on, we were really really bored!)

1,2,3,4……17,18…..30,31,32….

37 times we spotted Kate Moss in Vogue. That meant that Kate Moss appeared on almost 10% of the entire issue. Yes, she did drugs and it wasn’t too rosy, but I have so much respect for someone who can get that much coverage in Vogue of all the fashion magazines.
